Q. Does Ultraflight have an approved QA system?

A. Ultraflight is working towards accreditation against ISO9000:2000.  We have individual customer based approvals (for example Stork Fokker AESP B.V.), all work is performed against procedures defined within our Quality Handbook.

Q. Is the work done by Ultraflight warranted?

A. Ultraflight undertakes all work with the utmost level of professionalism. We support our customers for job +90 days.  Our product line is supported with a no-quibble guarantee for defective workmanship and faults. You statutory rights are not affected.

Q. What are the payment terms?

A. Ultraflight has flexible payment terms. For new customers we may ask for a substantial deposit. For repeat customers it is probably that we will charge on a monthly basis (against time/materials incurred or against % complete for fixed price jobs).

Q. So you offer fixed price projects?

A. Ultraflight offers fixed price projects where the customers objectives are clear and we have prior experience.  For projects with less clear aims, or where variability may occur in timing etc we prefer time and material based projects.

Q. What are you labour rates and expenses?

A. Ultraflight has standard rates applicable to certain types of projects. QA Management may, for example attract lower rates than advanced FEA (impact or optimisation). We aim to be competitive, our benchmarks are based on whole project cost - not just an hourly rate.  We recover expenses for travel, accomadation and brought-in items.
